A single source for information about community services, human services and critical intervention. There are two ways to gain assistance from the 2-1-1 network - by utilizing the calling center 24 hours a day, seven days a week or by searching the comprehensive social services database. 2-1-1 calling is not available in all counties at this time.
Affordable Rental Housing
This housing list and locator service will provide easy access to information about housing opportunities throughout Nebraska. This free service allows Nebraskans to locate available rental housing that best fits their needs. Individuals will be able to easily search for housing using a wide variety of search criteria, access other helpful websites, as well as tools for renters, including an affordability calculator, a rental checklist and renter rights and responsibilities information. It also provides information on supportive services throughout the state, especially those services linked to housing needs.

Answers4Families
The mission of Answers4Families is to provide information, opportunities for dialogue, education and support to Nebraskans with special needs and their families; by developing and providing internet resources; and by encouraging others to do the same.
Behavioral Health Services
The Nebraska Health and Human Services System's Division of Behavioral Health Services contracts with six Regional Behavioral Health Networks across the state to ensure access to mental health and substance abuse services for all Nebraskans. The Regions contract with local community-based providers of services to meet the needs of individuals that promote services close to their home and support system. Additional services are provided in the state-operated Regional Centers for those with serious and persistent mental illness in need of acute inpatient or secure residential services.
Community Action of Nebraska
Community Action helps the low-income gain the necessary skills to become self-sufficient. Nebraska has nine Community Action Agencies, serves all 93 counties with a variety of programs designed to empower low-income families and individuals and make our state a better place to live. Community Action of Nebraska (CAN) serves as a bridge between the agencies and State, Federal and private organizations. In addition, CAN coordinates a few statewide programs such as the Nebraska Food Pantry Network and the Low-Income Tax Assistance and Outreach project.

The Disabled Businesspersons Association is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to assisting enterprising individuals with disabilities maximize their potential in the business world, and work with vocational rehabilitation, government and business to encourage the participation and enhance the performance of the disabled in the workforce.

National Arts and Disability Center
The NADC is a resource, training and information center dedicated to promoting the full inclusion of artists and audiences with disabilities into the arts community. The site offers many resources, including an online directory of State resource agencies and organizations for ADA compliance and technical assistance.

AccessIT promotes the use of electronic and information technology for students and employees with disabilities in educational institutions at all academic levels. This website features AccessIT Knowledge Base, a searchable, growing database of questions and answers regarding accessible electronic and information technology.
The National Council on Independent Living
NCIL advances independent living and the rights of people with disabilities through consumer-driven advocacy. NCIL envisions a world in which people with disabilities are valued equally and participate fully.
Social Security Administration
The Social Security Administration handles social security cards, retirement benefits, disability benefits, supplemental security income, Medicare (extra help with Part D), survivor benefits and death benefits.
Statewide Independent Living Councils
SILCs are cross-disability councils comprised of a majority of individuals with disabilities, family members, and advocates mandated to uphold the philosophy of independent living.
Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration
SAMHSA was created to focus attention, programs, and funding on improving the lives of people with or at risk for mental and substance abuse disorders.
United Cerebral Palsy
UCP is the leading source of information on cerebral palsy and is a pivotal advocate for the rights of persons with any disability. As one of the largest health charities in America, the UCP mission is to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with disabilities through an affiliate network.
Vocational Rehabilitation Services
The Employment Network for the Ticket as well as a State/Federal program assists individuals with disabilities to prepare for, obtain, and maintain employment. Vocational Rehabilitation works with people with all types of physical, mental or emotional disabilities who are willing and able to work.
