Vocational Rehabilitation Benefits – 5 Tracks to Employment

Vocational Rehabilitation is a program whose primary function is to help veterans with service-connected disabilities become suitably employed, maintain employment, or achieve independence in daily living.  Once entitlement to vocational rehabilitation has been established, the veteran and the VA counselor work together to develop a Rehabilitation Plan.  Veterans decide the best way to reach their employment goals by selecting one of the 5 Tracks to Employment:

  • Reemployment
  • Rapid Access to Employment
  • Self-Employment
  • Employment Through Long-Term Services
  • Independent Living Services
