Work Incentives Planning and Assistance (WIPA) provides one-on-one counseling to Social Security beneficiaries on how employment income will impact the entire range of public benefits that the individual may be or could be accessing. A Community Work Incentive Coordinator will assist beneficiaries in developing and implementing plans for utilizing the work incentives available to them.

The Social Security Administration provides grant monies to the state's Protection and Advocacy organization, Nebraska Advocacy Services, to advocate on behalf of Social Security beneficiaries with issues that involve barriers to employment.  They also assist Ticket holders when they are dissatisfied with the services provided by an Employment Network.
