Employment Networks

An Employment Network (EN) is an entity that contracts with the Social Security Administration to either provide or coordinate the delivery of the necessary services to Social Security disability beneficiaries who assign their tickets to the EN. The ultimate goal of this program is to reduce reliance on Social Security disability benefits and to promote increased self-sufficiency for beneficiaries with disabilities through work.

How does Social Security determine my progress in the Ticket to Work program? 

Your participation in the Ticket to Work program began when you signed an agreement with an employment network or state vocational rehabilitation agency. With their help, you developed an employment plan. While you are in the program, the Social Security Administration will review your progress in achieving the goals of your employment plan every 12 months.
