The ACN (Autism Center of NE) Connections program has developed a list of suggestions for employers who work with people on the Autism Spectrum. While the advice was prepared for that specific group and purpose, it also provides useful information for family members, educators, employers, and others as they interact with individuals with disabilities.
Internet Protocol Relay
Telecommunciations Relay Service (TRS) permits persons with a hearing or speech disability to use the telephone system via a text telephone (TTY) or other device. Now TRS users are only a mouse click away from a new TRS option. All they need is a connection to the Internet and they can use Internet Protocol (IP) Relay.
