- Region II Benefits Planning Pilot
- This collaboration within 17 counties of western NE is building capacity and improving employment services so that individuals with disabilities have the information and support they need to make the right choices in employment and managing their state and federal benefits.
- TRAIN (Transitioning to Responsible Adulthood in Nebraska), York
- The purpose of TRAIN is to ensure that young adults (ages 18-24) with disabilities living in the York community transition from high school to employment and/or post-secondary education to become productive self-sufficient citizens. Add a link to TRAIN documents

- Nebraska Ticket To Work Palliative Care Project
- A collaboration between the Department of Health & Human Services and the NE Hospice & Palliative Care Partnership through its Pain Initiative to develop and test pain management intervention protocols to overcome pain and symptom barriers to employment. Palliative care is a rapidly-growing medical/social intervention that brings the team-based, holistic, comfort-care expertise of hospice to those who are not terminally ill. - Young Adult Advisory Council (YAAC)
- Workforce Development Disability Navigator Collaboration
- Provide training to persons with disabilities and professionals on how to use the core services of the 21 Career One-Stop Centers, supplementing with other services as needed (i.e.: avoiding auto-referral of people with disabilities to the “disability-specific” system). Collaborate with Disability Navigators on employer development, working with employers to educate and help create job opportunities for people with disabilities. - Benefits Planning Infrastructure Steering Committee
- The mission is to create a statewide benefits planning infrastructure to increase employment of people with disabilities by developing strategies that increase knowledge of available work incentives and supports through information, referral, assistance and outreach activities.
